Foreign Manufacturer FPV-Drones Archer opens an office in Ukraine: what will it give an Armed Forces

To spread: The American company NEROS, which produces FPV-punks by Archer, opens an office in Kiev and is looking for a regional manager. In March 2025, NEROS received a contract for the supply of 6000 Archer drone, which promised to perform in six months. The Defender Media portal has learned from the Bazait Defense platform, which selects candidates for vacancy. Archer is an 8-inch FPV-Dron, which can carry a fighting part of 2 kg over 20 km.

It is equipped with a multi -frequency control system and a broadband video channel to protect against suppression by the means of EWS. According to Forbes, Archer is completed with two types of batteries depending on the task. The drone can fly day, night and in difficult weather conditions. The contract does not provide for the supply of amounts, so the Ukrainian military has to produce ammunition independently.

However, Neros is working on creating a special warhead together with his partner Kraken Kinetics. "We have seen that the system is generally much more efficient when the drone and warheads are designed together, so we pay paramount attention to this project," said NEROS Director, Soren Monro-Anderson. In March 2025, NEROS attracted an investment of $ 35 million during Series A. The Round was headed by Vy Capital US, and Sequo Capital, Interlagos, D3 and other investors took part in it.
