Russia is increasing the output of "lancets": who applies these drones and how to deal with them

Russian Lancet UAV is a great threat to the battlefield, but they also have drawbacks. Lanceth drones in the war zone against Ukraine are used not only by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, but also by special forces and even mercenaries of Wagner PEC. About it writes the Internet portal "Military". Bading ammunition was first introduced at the 2019 military exhibition, and the former were used in 2021 in the province of Idleb (Syria).

There "Lancet" destroyed, for example, a moving pickup and a machine gun point. Then it was used by the Russian military from the special purpose centers "Senezh" and "Kubinka-2". After the start of the full -scale invasion of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation into Ukraine the use of "Lancet" by the military became widespread.

This drone was in service with special forces of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, 76th and 98-1 VAT divisions, unit of Cascade 1 of the Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. They were also supplied to Wagner PECs when they tried to capture Bakhmut. The Russians use a lancet paired with Zala 421-16E2 reconnaissance drone.

The drone is looking for a target in a given square, and then operators run on these coordinates "Lancet". The latter can only know the target in flight and dive it. While the shot drone "works" on the target, it is constantly controlled by the "partner". Zala 421-16E2 monitors the situation, since the last meters to the goal "Lancet" are no longer under the control of the operator.

He is disturbed by radio interruptions, as well as objects such as buildings or trees that separate the drone from the control station. Therefore, Lancet needs to be insured by the entertainment drone, which also captures the result of the attack. Russian drones of the Armed Forces are neutralized with the help of layouts of military equipment. The more drones of the enemy, the less likely that the "lanceotes" will damage the true armored equipment.
