According to the speaker of the united Press Center of Defense forces of Yuri Povhh, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conduct a constant shelling of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, but engineers strengthen the border and have established more than a thousand anti -tank mines. Russian invaders have not yet formed shock groups for a possible new offensive in the north of Ukraine.

On January 9, a spokesman of the United Press Center of Defense of the Northern Direction Yuri Poch announced on the national telephone. Powk noted that, despite continuous shelling of border areas in Sumy and Chernihiv regions, there are currently no signs of formation of impact groups of the enemy in the north direction. Intelligence is constantly observed, and in the case of preparation of hostile shock groups will be given a corresponding message.

The spokesman also stressed that Ukrainian defenders actively strengthen the border in the north with the help of engineering barriers and the installation of minefields. In January, engineers have already installed more than a thousand anti -tank mines in these areas.
