Support of Ukraine and efforts to return children stolen by Russia: a meeting of the President and Royal Princess of UK Anna took place in Sofia of Kiev

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the royal princess Anna, who is on the first visit to Ukraine after independence. The previous twice Princess Anna visited Kyiv in 1973 and 1990. The meeting was held on the territory of Sofia Kyivska National Reserve. The Head of State thanked her royal highness for their special attention and support of Ukraine and our people. In the UK, there are almost 250,000 Ukrainians who were forced to leave their home because of Russian aggression.

The focus of the royal family is constantly helping them. The president also expressed gratitude to the royal princess Anna for visiting veterans and talking to them. Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that it is very important that her royal highness is taken care of by this issue. One of the key topics of the meeting is the return of Ukrainian children stolen by Russia.

The Head of State noted that the United Kingdom is actively involved in the work of an international coalition for the return of Ukrainian children. Ukraine counts on further support of all its initiatives. Princess Anna spoke about meeting with children who managed to return home. The President stressed that every child is important and need to do everything for their reintegration.

Volodymyr Zelensky invited her highness to participate in the next summit of the International Coalition for the return of Ukrainian children. In addition, the meeting discussed the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers, in particular with the involvement of animals, and the techniques used to restore the physical and mental health of patients. They also exchanged views on the introduction of colorless practices for full -fledged public reintegration.
