Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainians! First of all, the Russian blow to the warriors of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade, which occurred in the Zaporozhye region. My condolences to all relatives, close soldiers! This is a tragedy that could be avoided. Defense Minister Umerov reported to me about the measures taken to find out all the circumstances of what happened, who specifically and what orders. Criminal proceedings were also registered after the tragedy. The appropriate investigation is ongoing.

The main thing is to establish the full truth about what happened and to prevent such. Every military in the combat zone - in the area of ​​pre -stream and air intelligence of the enemy - knows how to behave in the open air, how to take care of safety. The investigation should now give the native soldiers and society honest answers, how the tragedy happened and whose orders were wrong. The second thing I would like to say today.

When we pass such weeks, such as this painful pain and difficult discussions, it is important that people understand: what they have on their hearts, see, and the changes we need will be made. This applies to many things, from the carelessness that happens to Soviet region and horrific bureaucracy, which do not give Ukraine, do not give many in our defense to realize their potential properly - effectively. We must protect Ukraine. And we will protect - I have no doubt.

To believe in Ukraine is to know that Ukraine and Ukrainians can maintain independence, retain, return their own. But, just like after February 24, it can be done together - and only together, in unity, taking care of the state, about those who are near you, about Ukrainians, where they are.
