The threat at the border remains significant: Georin about the plans of the Russian Federation on Sumy and Kharkiv region

This was stated by Lieutenant Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Deputy Commander of the Third Separate Assault Brigade Maxim Zhorin, writes "24 Channel".

According to him, the Russian Federation is not currently capable of maintaining an offensive at the same time in all directions, but has sufficient resources for beats in priority areas. This, in particular, is visible in the situation in the Sumy region. Georin noted that Russia would try to realize its political intentions through attempts to advance deep into Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

The existing forces of the occupiers are not enough to capture regional centers, such as sums or Kharkiv, but the enemy wants to at least partially move in these areas to use it as an argument in future negotiations. "That is why they have been transferred there now both personnel and equipment. Also, unmanned units were also moved to the border near Sumy and Kharkiv regions, through which they are trying to ensure advancement.

He added that at the same time Russian troops have enough resources to put pressure on Kupyansk, Boriv, ​​Pokrovsky and other areas. Recently, the dynamics of hostilities in the key areas of the front has increased significantly. According to Georin, Russia actively applies FPV-orons as one of the cheapest means for attacks, including against civilians.

He stressed that the closer the Russian invaders approach the settlements, the easier it is for them to take terrorist actions using such drones. Currently, the working distance for FPV-oules is up to 40 kilometers-within this distance they are actively used by both Ukrainian forces and Russian troops. In this regard, according to Georin, it is especially important to strengthen the protection of logistics routes.

He emphasizes the need to install antitrone nets not only near the front line, but also in the deep rear, to take action in time and to protect supply.
