"Well-planned strikes": the Russians attacked the substations of two Ukrainian nuclear power plants, Sybig

Share: During the shelling on November 8, the Russians attacked the substations that feed the Rivne and Khmelnytsky nuclear power plants, carrying out targeted strikes on the objects. In connection with the attacks on the substations of two nuclear power plants, Ukraine called for an urgent meeting of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga on his page on the X network.

"During today's attacks, Russia again targeted the substations that supply the Khmelnytskyi and Rivne nuclear power plants. These were not accidental, but well-planned strikes," the official emphasized. According to him, the Russians are deliberately endangering the nuclear security not only of Ukraine, but also of the whole of Europe. "We call for an urgent meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors to respond to these unacceptable risks," Sibiga urged.
