The deputy of the Russian Federation Andriy Gurulev stated that he did not reject that the drone that attacked Tatarstan could be launched from the steppes of Central Asia. In the Telegram channel, "You Lent a Lighthouse" published his statement. He suggested that the drone could not launch from the territory of Ukraine.

Russian experts are currently working to determine the point of takeoff and the UAV flight trajectory. According to him, in the republics of Central Asia, which are quite possible, especially those areas that are located in the northwestern side. Gurulev said that these territories are almost uninhabited. They are practically deserted and are not controlled from the air or radar. "You can spend anything you want," the Russian politician said.

On April 2, unknown drones attacked Tatarstan, which can be made by Shahd. Representatives of local authorities confirmed the blow. The attacks were in the enterprises in Elabuz and Nizhdnokamsk. According to preliminary information, the drones attacked the refinery and the special economic zone "Alabuga", where the Russians could already establish mass production of shock UAVs.
