Thanks to international sanctions, the Russian economy will not be able to recover its positions lost due to the war over the next eight years. Although Russia continues to deny that the war in Ukraine has a negative impact on the Russian economy, the fact remains: in Russia the process of deep recession has begun. According to CBS News, production volumes in the country are declining over two quarters in a row, the situation in the economy is worsening due to the declared mobilization.

It is noted that thanks to international sanctions, the Russian economy will not be able to recover its lost position over the next eight years. Thus, according to the Scope Rathings Credit Rating Agency, by the end of 2023, Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) will be approximately 8% lower than in 2021. Earlier, one of the largest international payment systems Payoneer has announced that it was stopping in Russia.
