Jeff Bezos prepares for NASA a new space station instead of the ISS. Russia, as always, did not invite

Blue Origin Jeff Bezosa presented a new space station for NASA. The first astronauts should visit this station in five years. The ISS is the most expensive and ambitious project in the history of space development. The research station has been located in orbit for almost 24 years, and its key operators are the USA, the Russian Federation, Japan, the EU and Canada. Video of the day under the Space, US and Russia Treaty remain responsible for the operation of all MCC modules.

The termination of the station was postponed several times, but after the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine at the beginning of 2022 the key participants of the project voiced the refusal to support the ICS. The Russians will cease cooperation with the ISS in 2024, and they have already announced the development of their own station. The US authorities, instead, plan to operate the ISS by 2030.

To do this, they will have to solve the problem of adjusting the orbit of the station, which is made by Russian engines today. China, meanwhile, launched its own Tianunist station, which has accepted nine astronauts since its operation in April 2021. In addition to the ISS, by the end of this decade, NASA plans to launch several new orbital stations with the support of private contractors.
