According to Tatiana Sapyan's advisor to the State Bureau, from the beginning of 2022, Ginkevichi has concluded contracts for the purchase of clothing and linen for the Armed Forces from the Ministry of Defense, but they were supplied with poor quality products or not supplied it at all. The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) has wanted a close relative of the Lviv businessman, suspected of fraud with the purchase of clothing for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported on Thursday, January 18, in the press service of the department. According to the DBR Advisor Tatiana Sapyan on the air of the national telephone, the DBR exposed an organized group that was engaged in the purchase of clothing and linen for the Armed Forces. The group has caused the State Budget of Ukraine for almost one billion hryvnias. 5 members of the group were notified of the suspicion, they were detained, but one of them is still hiding.

"Yesterday they conducted a series of urgent searches to find and detain members of a criminal group, including a relative of the Lviv businessman. Unfortunately, it was not yet found, but suspicion of fraud and participation in the criminal group was declared in accordance with the procedure established Sapyan. According to the DBR, the group has been in force since the beginning of 2022.

The suspected entrepreneur offered half a million dollars of a bribe to the DBR official in exchange for the return of the property of his companies withdrawn in the framework of a criminal investigation. According to the investigation, a businessman who owns construction firms is also a supplier of clothing and food products for the Ministry of Defense. His companies have won 23 tenders with a total value of more than UAH 1. 5 billion. Previous estimates indicate losses of UAH 1.

2 billion for the state budget. According to the media, it is about Lviv entrepreneur Igor Grinkevich. The son of Igor Grinkevich, Roman Grinkevich, noted that the scandal around his family was allegedly created intentionally. He also stated that his family did not intend to leave the country.
