August August: The Number of Shahaneda Attacking Ukraine reached an absolute record

On the night of August 7, 2024, Russian invaders attacked 30 Shaahed UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Yaysk. During the air battles, all hostile drones were shot in Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv and Cherkasy regions.
On August 8, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit Kharkiv region with 2 ballistic missiles "Iskander-M" as well as released two controlled airlines X-59 and 4 UAVs of the type from Yeysk. - the Russian Federation. Two X-59 and all UAV were shot in Odessa, Kherson and Kirovograd regions. As a result, all enemy UAVs were shot down by mobile fire groups of defense forces of Ukraine, anti -aircraft missile units and means of air forces in Kyiv, Poltava, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The night of August 10 was relatively calm, and already on the 11th of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked Ukrainian cities 57 shock UAVs and 4 ballistic missiles KN-23.
The Ukrainians managed to knock down 53 drones in Mykolaiv, Odessa, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kirovograd, Kherson, Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Rivne and Cherkasy regions. The air forces destroyed 30 enemy UAVs in Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kirovograd, Kherson, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions. On the night of August 14, aggressors attacked Ukrainians with 2-managed aviation missiles X-59/69 from the airspace of Belgorod region and 23 UAV "SHahd" from Crimea, Yeysk and Kursk. During the air combat, 17 enemy drones in the Nikolaev, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Kharkiv and Zhytomyr regions were managed.
On the night of August 15, the Russians had already struck 3-managed X-59 aviation missiles from the airspace of Kursk region. There were also 29 Shahaneda from Primorsky-Akhtra, Yeysk and Kursk. All 29 enemy UAVs were destroyed within the limits of Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Kherson, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions. On August 16, Russian invaders struck 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, 3-like Shaahed UAVs, and 2 unknown-type drones. All enemy UAV was shot.
The air defense, Zhytomyr, Kirovograd, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions were distinguished. On the night of August 17, Russian troops struck the 14-like "Shaahd" UAV from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Yaysk and Kursk. In the city of Sumy from the Voronezh region, the Iskander-K rocket was released. All 14 shamed is shot down. On the night of August 20, the Russian army launched Iskander-M ballistic missiles/KN-23, Iskander-K and controlled Aviation missiles X-59 "26" Shahas ". On the night of August 22, Russian invaders struck a 10-like "Shaahd" UAV from the Kursk direction, most of them attacking the positions of defense forces in the frontline territories of Kharkiv region. Two shock UAVs were shot down by forces and means of air defense, and two more fell on their own.
On the night of August 23, air defense worked in Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Poltava and Sumy regions. The enemy released 16 drones from Yeysk and Kursk. Fire groups of defense forces were shot down 14 "cans". Two more UAVs turned out to be "location-lost", that is, somewhere they fell under the influence of the EC. Before the Independence Day of Ukraine, August 24, it was "quiet".
And on the night of August 25, the enemy struck rockets of different types of frontier Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk region, using the "Iskander-K" winged, Iskander-M ballistic and six managed aviation missiles X-59/X-69, Most of which, thanks to the air defense, did not reach its goals. The occupiers also attacked 9 shock-offs of the type "Shahd", 8 of which were shot down by the calculations of mobile firing groups in the Nikolaev area.
On Monday, August 26, it became a record in the number of lesions released, which were mainly aimed at critical infrastructure. A total of 236 air assaults were found: 127 rockets and 109 UAVs. Among them are 3 aerobalist missiles X-47M2 "Darling", 6 Spander-M ballistic missiles/KN-23, 77 Winged Missiles X-101, 28 Winged Caliber missiles, 3 Winged X-22 missiles, 10 managed aviation missiles X-59/X-69 and 109 UAVs "Shahd-131/136".
As a result of the air combat, 201 air target was shot down - 102 rockets and 99 drones. On the night of August 27, 91 enemy air attacks were found in the Ukrainian sky. It became the "second place" in the number of rockets and drones. The occupiers struck in Ukraine 3 aerobalist missiles X-47M2 "Dagger", Iskander-M rocket and Iskander-K missile, as well as 5 winged X-101 missiles. In addition, 81 shock UAVs were recorded.
As a result of the combat work, which was conducted in most regions of the country, 5 winged X-101 rockets and the vast majority of "Shahmed" were shot down. The next day, on August 28, became a "output" for the Ukrainian air defense, but on the night for the 29th the Russians again attacked Ukraine with 5 rockets of different types and 74 shock UAVs of the type "Shahd-131/136". That is, it became a "bronze record" by the number of drones produced by Russians in August.
As a result of the anti-air battle, two managed aviation missiles X-59/69 and 60 strikes within the Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Kyiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson Sumy and Donetsk regions were shot. Another 14 shock UAVs fell. On August 30, the enemy struck the Iskander-M ballistic missile from Crimea and 18 Shahheda from Primorsky-Akhtra and Kursk. Air defense worked in Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Sumy regions. 12 shock UAVs were shot, four were lost.
Tonight, August 31, the Russians released the Iskander-M ballistic missile, four S-300 anti-aircraft missiles and 52 UAVs. As a result of the work of air defense in Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Sumy regions 24 "Shahda" was shot. Another 25 fell without air defense, two drones flew to the Russian Federation, and another one in Belarus.
