Ukrainian drones from pipes and plywood attack Crimea: why the Russians are not laughing (photo)

Extend: drones on the basis of pipes attack targets in the Belgorod region of Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea. The machine is assembled from cheap components and equipped with a gasoline engine. The details of the Russian Telegram-channel "UAVS RESERVER" reports, showing photos of debris. According to him, the drone is based on a sewer of a 160-mm pipe, inside which is a fuel tank leading to the engine.

The wings are stuffed with plywood and covered with film, they are attached to the plywood body in the middle. The combat part is fixed on an external suspension made of a piece of profile and two lanes in the form of clamps. The design is simple and cheap, but easily exchanged by the enemy, if not exploded. "We will not laugh at him, because he still flew (though he did not hit)," - writes Russian analysts.

The electronics of the sample, captured during the attack on the Crimea, did not survive, so the Russians can not estimate the resistance of the drone to the remedies. In March 2025, in the Belgorod region, the occupiers found a similar "pipe", and it has the following components: in 2024 the Russians showed similar Ukrainian drones made of pipes and plywood. The most expensive elements in it are gasoline engine and control system.

The UAVs also found a camera, probably, it allows you to control real -time flight to more accurately impress targets. The name of the device remains unknown to the general public. Later, the expert studied in detail the construction of Ukrainian "pipelists". He drew attention to the interesting design of wings with two aluminum pipes in the form of spars and wooden strings.
