The largest buyer of Russian wheat in August was Egypt, who bought almost a million tons of grain from the aggressor country. By blocking the exports of Ukrainian grain and in parallel, destroying the maritime infrastructure of our country, Russia has shipped 7. 7 million tons of its wheat as a result of August 2023. This volume is record it is a record for August over the past seven years. According to the Russian edition "Interfax", exports this year by 32% exceeded last year.

It is noteworthy that sharp export growth occurred almost immediately after the Russians abandoned the grain agreement. Barley exports increased by 7% to 997 thousand tons, corn - almost 1. 9 times - up to 212 thousand tons. At the same time, the Kremlin continues to lie that only military facilities are attacking in Ukraine. By the way, thanks to the Black Sea Grain Initiative in 2022, the world received almost 32 million tons of Ukrainian food. On August 3, during a UN Security Council meeting, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that the countries of the world need to combine efforts to counteract Russian blackmail with famine, which can start on the planet.
