Prepared to give a way to the US: China's army tested sea drones against mines

The drones should identify the threats in the sea by means of built-in waterlockers, and then transmit data to the main ship. The China's naval forces conducted the Yellow Sea and applied an unusual approach to mine: united autonomous drones with ordinary military-driven ships, reports Bulgarianmilitis, citing China's central television (SSTV). These military exercises deserve special attention in view of the intention to establish sea mines against China, military experts say.

NVAK's training included a modeled scenario when enemy sea mines were discovered near Chinese warships. The task was to effectively neutralize these mine threats. According to the state CCTV report, a flotilla consisting of a Huimin-piloted minescrem, two drowns and two motor boats quickly took a position. The remote -working drones were ahead.

Independent ships activated the side inspection waterlockers, detecting underwater threats and transmitting real-time data to the main mineswoman's combat system. As soon as sea mines were identified and included in the catalog, Huimin launched a mechanism for the disposal of mines. Chinese military expert Sun Zhunpin suggests that unmanned ships will play an important role in future naval wars. They are able to perform several missions, including intelligence, overcoming obstacles and attack.

Song also noted that China is a world leader in the development of unmanned ships. In general, military experts believe that these exercises in the Yellow Sea have been response to a recent proposal by the US Navy Commander Viktor Duenou to activate the mineralization of water in the Yellow Sea and the Pearl River Delta to restrain the PRC. And last year, Taiwan put into operation additional mine barriers to protect against mainland China.
