Igor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, stated that there were almost no ammunition in Ukraine, in particular for artillery. He reported this in an interview with Bloomberg on Friday, February 10.

When asked by a journalist about the weapons needed by Ukraine, he answered that now the defense forces for the de -occupation of the territories captured by Russia require primarily a long -range artillery for a counter -offensive. "Now we have almost zero ammunition because of the intensity of combat. We need artillery and ammunition, we need tanks, fighters, for several reasons. In particular, to combat ballistic missiles that are increasingly attacked by Ukraine," he said.

Igor Zhovkva added that Ukraine realizes that it requires long -term training to work on Western fighters, but according to him, Ukrainian pilots are already experienced, that he is sure that they will only take a few months to master the planes. On February 8, Prime Minister Richa Sunnak said British Challenger 2 will arrive in Ukraine in a few weeks. Ukrainian crews who came to training last week will use Challenger 2 tanks to protect Ukraine next month.
