"Early, no prerequisites": Putin spoke about peace talks with Ukraine

Russian Presidential President Dmitry Peskov believes that it is too early to say which of the different parties to Russia's different sides of Russia is closer. There is no prerequisite for peaceful settlement of hostilities in Ukraine. Such a statement was made by the Presidential President Dmitry Peskov today, May 24, TASS writes. "So far, it is not premature to talk about it until there is no prerequisite for peaceful settlement, obviously," he said.

Peskov emphasized that it is early to speak about which of the different parties to Russia's peace plans is closer and recalled the ban in Ukraine to negotiate with the Russian Federation. On May 23, the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office Mikhail Podolyak stated that after the war between Ukraine and Russia there would be no peace treaty. Only reparations from the aggressor country, the fixation of war crimes and the demilitarization zone will be discussed.

We will remind, on May 16, Yevgeny Shevchenko remembered how together with the head of GUR of Ukraine Kirill Budanov organized a telephone call of the President of Ukraine with the leader of Belarus, which was necessary for guarantees of safety of the Ukrainian negotiation group. Earlier, March 14, the media wrote that the Polish special forces accompanied the delegation of Ukraine in negotiations with the Russian Federation in Belarus.
