Financial support of military pensioners is governed by Article 56 of the Law of Ukraine "On Pension Support of Persons Dismissed from Military Service and Some Other Persons" and Article 48 of the Law of Ukraine "On Compulsory State Pension Insurance". "During the stay of a pensioner from the military personnel at full state maintenance at the relevant institution (institution), he is paid 25% of the assigned pension," the PFU explained.

When the pensioner leaves boarding house for treatment, its provision increases. "During the period of treatment of the pensioner, in particular in the hospital, 100% of the prescribed pension is paid," - said PFU. The administration of the boarding school should notify the Pension Fund of Ukraine about the departure of a pensioner for treatment within three days. The document must indicate the date of departure and return.
