Didn't spare five mines: the Russian Federation has placed explosives on the IAEA Mission's way to ZPP (video)

Russian invaders have placed mines on the road, which representatives of the MAEA mission on the way to the Zaporizhzhya NPP. To neutralize the mines have to be shot. The commander of "Tavriya" Brigadny General Alexander Tarnavsky published footage of rotation of the IAEA representatives who were heading to the Zaporizhzhya NPP. The video shows that the Russians replaced the path that international experts had to move. He wrote about it in the Telegram channel.

The event happened at the final stage, when a group of six people approached the Kamiansky Bridge: "The last 500 m went" - says the entry operator. Ahead - anti -tank "hedgehogs" and a break in the roadway in the direction of the bridge. At some point, the fighters who accompanied the mission members noticed five PMN-2 anti-personnel mines ahead-the Russians installed them across the road.

The author of the video said the route was agreed in advance with the Russian side: "These mines should not be here on the road. " To neutralize them, the fighters were detonated by shots. After that, two UN cars arrived at the scene. Mission members should see the smoke from detonation that covered the road ahead. It is indicated that the Russians had to pass a half kilometers in neutral territory.

Meanwhile, there were no obstacles to the persons who met the mission on the opposite side of the road. "Ukraine adheres to international standards. And the site intended for exchange of international experts is not thrown by mines, which you will not say about the Russians. Five PMN-2 in the area of 100-150 meters, which borders with this collapsed bridge," the voice said for the frame.

It should be noted that the army of the Russian Federation occupied the Zaporozhye NPP in the first days of invasion in 2022. Some time after the Russians allowed to stay at the IAEA mission nuclear power station - members of the international organization had to monitor their safety.

At the same time, Ukrainians regularly warned that the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have placed explosives at the station: the explosion can cause radioactive contamination of four regions of Ukraine. After the blasting of the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Plant, on June 6, 2023, a new threat appeared: a cooling pond near the ZPP. On July 7, Secretary General Raphael Grosssey came personally with the inspection.

According to him, he did not notice the replacement of water structures. However, as early as July 25, the mission staff acknowledged that they had noticed mines in the station. We remind that the forces of Ukraine's defense continue the gradual promotion on the Zaporizhzhya front of the front. In particular, it became known that the soldiers of the Armed Forces managed to approach close to the village of Verbove, located halfway to the occupied Tokmak.
