Capable of carrying nuclear weapons: The American B-52 bombard arrived in Poland

The Polish Defense Ministry said that the US and Poland's operational compatibility and opportunities to protect the Eastern Flanging NATO are growing. The American bomber who is able to carry nuclear weapons arrived in the country on Friday, August 2. Blaschak added that the operational compatibility and capabilities of the US and Poland to defend the Eastern Flanging NATO. Boeing B-52 is an American strategic Boeing bomber. It has been in service with the US Air Force since 1955. At a permit speed at altitudes up to 15 kilometers B-52 can carry different types of weapons, including nuclear.

The main task for which the bomber was developed is to deliver two high-kind bombs to any point of the USSR.
