The occupiers in the Kherson region threaten to completely stop the hryvnia's circulation until the New Year

Local residents receive messages on mobile phones from the so -called "administration". Ukrainians are invited to exchange hryvnias on rubles in Russian banks. The invaders in the Kherson region plan to completely stop the hryvnia until the New Year. The reports with information began to come to the mobile phones of Ukrainians. The locals in the captured Genichesk told this focus.

"Dear residents of Kherson region! We will inform you that from January 1, 2023, the hryvnia will no longer be accepted in the Kherson region,"-said in a message signed by VGA (ie, "Military-Civil Administration"). As it is specified, then all calculations will occur exclusively in rubles. Ukrainians are advised to exchange existing national currency for Russian money in the offices of "Pomzovokbank".

Earlier, the Russian media reported that according to the "federal constitutional laws" on Russian annexation of occupied Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, the monetary unit in these territories will be a ruble from January 1, 2023. The adviser to the so -called "governor" of the Kherson region Alexander Malkevich said that by the new year Ukrainian money in the occupied lands can be spent and then exchanged.

According to him, after January 1, the hryvnia "will not be removed or taken away. " "Closer to the new year will go fake to be removed, they will be removed, they will be delayed. People will be delayed. We warn immediately: this is not true. At the same time, the authorities will have to change the hryvnia, the authorities are doing everything for the most comfortable exchange," the occupier commented.

In local propaganda publications, it is specified that the hryvnia on the ruble in the occupied Kherson region can be exchanged in the branches of two Russian banks-"Pomzovokbank" and "MRB-Bank". They, in particular, work in the cities of Genichesk and Skadovsk, as well as the villages of Novooleksiyivka, Kalanchak, Ivanivka, Novotroitskoye and Nizhny Sirogoz. We will remind, the occupiers in the captured Kherson in July warned about the removal of the hryvnia from circulation.
