"We cannot repeat the Russian Federation": the Armed Forces officer explained what mobilization should be in Ukraine

In Russia, persons who have committed serious crimes return home with a conviction, walk the streets and commit serious crimes. Mobilization in Ukraine should not repeat the Russian experience of calling "rapists and cannibals". This was stated in a comment in a comment in the "Telegraph" by the Armed Forces officer, the head of the Mir and Co. Charitable Foundation Miroslav Guy. He stressed that the service in the ranks of the Ukrainian army is not a punishment, but a constitutional duty.

According to him, it is not necessary to call persons who committed serious crimes. "We cannot blindly repeat the practice of the Russian Federation, which chases the war of rapists and cannibals," he said. According to Miroslav Guy, in practice, these "heroes" of Russia are returning home with a redeemed conviction. They freely walk the streets and commit more serious crimes.

Those who do not serve the sentence of non -violent articles, according to the military, should be given the opportunity to fulfill their constitutional duty. According to him, they can benefit their country. He added that there were cases where the prisoners wrote an appeal to mobilize them but received a refusal.

The Verkhovna Rada in the first reading supported a new project of mobilization, which provides for significant penalties for those who have not complied with the rules for military registration and military duty. Lawyer Roman Simutin said that the deputies were offered to change the norms that would allow the head of the shopping center to make a resolution even after years, increasing the term of responsibility from two months to three years from the date of committing or detecting an offense.
