In the Russian Federation, they can release a new budget model and call it a "Cossack". The car wants to produce a full production cycle. In Russia, they talked about the intention to revive Zaporozhets. The ex-deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Viktor Yanukovych Dmitry Voron, who was appointed a so-called "senator from Zaporizhzhya region", stated this in an interview with the Parliamentary Newspaper.

The collaborator proposes to create a modern ZAZ, which will become a budget "folk" model. According to him, such a cheap car would be in demand in the Russian Federation. Dmitry Voron believes that it is necessary to adjust the full cycle of production of the model, but did not specify whether the new "Zaporozhets" will be Chinese car like the revived Moskvich.

He also declared the desire to revive the Communard plant (previously called ZAZ), but did not mention that the enterprise exists and is in Zaporozhye, not in the occupied territory. Rights to the Zaporozhets trademark belong to Ukravto corporations, which is the owner of ZAZ. It is noteworthy that earlier the SBU announced Dmitry Raven about suspicion of aiding and abetting the aggressor country (Part 1. Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
