Kharkiv engineers have developed a Sirko-S combat work for the Armed Forces: what is it capable of

The drone on the wheels is equipped with an optical chamber, thermal imaging, the system of obstacle detection and a freight compartment of 150 kg, which allows it to perform many different tasks. The Ukrainian company SkyLab from Kharkiv has introduced the land work of Sirko-S, which will serve. Its leader Yevgeny Rachev told about the capabilities of the device in an interview with dev. ua.

Sirko-S is a four-wheeled platform, which is equipped with a day camera or thermal imaging, a system of laser rangefinders for hunting obstacles and an autonomous driving mode after a person. Special rubber wheels and built -in mechanisms provide steady off -road riding. According to Yevgeny Rivachov, the drone can perform various tasks for the military: conduct intelligence, deliver goods, provide communication between units, evacuate the wounded.

The device itself weighs 45 kg, but is capable of lifting objects with a total weight of 150 kg due to a cargo compartment of 80 x 40 x 20 cm. Sirko-S resembles the ground robots of themis production of Estonian company Milrem Robotics. In September, the first such devices were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Earlier it was written that Skylab developed battle drones for the Armed Forces called "Shulik MK-6".

Unmanned hexacopter can dump different types of ammunition on the enemy, including 82 mm and cumulative grenades. In March, Yevgeny Rachev stated that the UAV showed himself well in one of the directions, SkyLab could not conclude a contract with the Ministry of Defense. Skyssist recently launched a serial production of Sirko drones with a "flight wing" structure.
