For the first time from the beginning of the occupation: a Russian tanker - details from the City Council came into the port of Mariupol
This is stated in the message of the city council. "The invaders use the surviving Mariupol infrastructure for military purposes - to strengthen their positions and fortifications on the front line," said Vadim Boychenko mayor. Among other things, the invaders continue the construction of the railway track to respond quickly to the problems on the battlefield. In doing so, they use Mariupol as a logistics base for the Russian military machine, the mayor says.
It is worth noting that in the fall of 2023 the Russians began to build a rail between Rostov-on-Don through the occupied Azovia to the occupied Crimea. It should simplify the supply of military logistics, as well as to reduce the dependence of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the Crimean Bridge.
