The soldiers of the third separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine completely destroyed the 72nd OMSBR (separate motorized rifle brigade) during the battles on Andriyivka and Kingivka near Bakhmut of Donetsk region. "Many Russian units have actually surrendered. Others were killed in the last battle. The Russian 72nd Brigade no longer exists," Bild Fabian and Sebastian Gaisler said. It was noted that the third assault brigade of the Armed Forces was deducted by the village of Andreevka and Klyshchiyivka in the south of Bakhmut.

The Ukrainian military was opposed by the 72nd Separate Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation, which was formed specifically for the war against Ukraine in the spring of 2022 in the Orenburg region.
