According to journalists, Ukraine allegedly purchased components for inexpensive FPV drones for 50-100 thousand units. Russian social networks are overflowing with reflections on the inevitable attack of thousands of small unmanned aerial vehicles, which can hit their front line. This is stated on March 27 in the Forbes message. The publication draws attention to the information of the Russian engineer telegrams channel.

It stated that Ukraine purchased all accessories available on the market, according to indirect estimates of 50-100 thousand units. FPV drones are equipped with powerful camcorders and relatively inexpensive. The size of these devices is smaller than standard quadcopters, but they are equipped with powerful engines. This allows the drone to develop speeds up to 200 km/h. It is enough to attach any grenade to the UAV. The drone can be used as a radio-controlled work-Kamikadze.

In this case, the technique is accurately capable of hitting the targets at a relatively considerable distance from the operator that controls it on the video. This tactic was first successfully applied to the Armed Forces at the end of July 2022. Then the makeshift FPV-apparatus was able to slip into the door occupied by Russian military premises before exploding inside.
