In Serbia, the head of the Ministry of Economy was released for calls to impose sanctions against the Russian Federation - the media
Journalists write that the tower was released from the post from the submission of the leaders of the ruling coalition of the SPS-JS Ivitsa Dacic and Dragan Markovich Palma. The politician himself knew about the preparation of the release, but hoped that the leading Serbian Progressive Party would not support his resignation. However, on June 22, the Minister of Economy was dismissed. The tower itself did not come at the government meeting.
The media also writes that the dismissal of the Minister of Economy is likely to be related to his political position. Recently, the tower has made statements contrary to the official policy of the state. For example, he demanded to immediately impose sanctions on Russia. After that, Serbia Foreign Minister Ivitz Dachich stated that Serbia's position on non -compliance with the EU's sanction regime against Russia has not changed.
We will remind, on June 21 the Ambassadors of the European Union agreed the 11th package of sanctions against Russia. The European Commission believes that this will enhance the fight against the bypass of the sanctions and block the possibility of obtaining the goods to be restricted. The media also wrote that on June 1, Serbia President Alexander Vuchich stated that Serbia would not impose sanctions against the Russian Federation.
