The Russian authorities are trying to find and punish the exvasice president of the bank, which two years ago fled from the Russian Federation, fighting on the side of Kiev and received an award from the Armed Forces Commissar. Former Vice president of the Russian Bank "Gazprombank" Igor Volobuev was on the list of persons wanted by law enforcement officers of the Russian Federation. Previously, it was included in the list of "foreign agents" and now want to be criminally liable.

Information on the search of the Russian is published on the portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The post, which was found on the portal on January 12, reports the search of 55-year-old Igor Volobuyev. Russian law enforcement officers did not indicate what suspicions were concerned with the citizen: the text refers to the search under the article of the Criminal Code, but the article itself is not provided.

It should be noted that Igor Volobuyev, a native of Sumy region, left Russia in the first days of invasion of the Russian army into Ukraine. The media reported that he left the post of Vice President "Haprombanka" and decided to fight against the aggressor country. Later it became known that he became part of the Legion "Freedom of Russia" (LSR), which participates in hostilities on the Eastern Front, arranges raids and diversions in Russia.

To date, the LSR's Telegram channel has not published comments on the wanted search for one of the fighters. It is not known in what battles and special operations Volobuyev participated. However, in August 2023, the former Topmender received the Order of the Golden Cross. The document certifying the award is signed by the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
