The attacks of enemy drones on Kyiv were carried out from the southern direction. "The South Air Forces and Air Forces were shot down by fifteen drones: six over the Odessa region and nine over the Nikolaev area. In general, 26 Shahd-136 was destroyed in the south time from October 16 to October 17," the message reads command. In addition, the air defense units were knocked down by three winged missiles, which the Armed Forces tried to attack critical infrastructure.

During the hour of the Air Force command, the Armed Forces said that Ukrainian servicemen managed to destroy 11 Iranian Dronov-Kamikadze Shahd-136. Nine hostile drones were shot down in the northern and central directions of anti-aircraft missile units and fighter aviation. Two more Iranian Dron-Kamikadze Shahd-136 neutralized the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces. Thus, in the incomplete day, Ukrainian servicemen knocked down 37 enemy UAVs.
