On July 20, the US media reported that Ukraine has already used the US cassette ammunition. According to journalists, the Armed Forces used shells to destroy the trenches that slowed the counter -offensive. Earlier, on July 10, Jake Sullivan, an adviser to the US President on national security, said that the Armed Forces did not plan to use cassette ammunition in Russia, but only in their own territory.
