Shahd attack by Kharkov: one of the drones hit the hostel, is wounded

According to the chief of police of Kharkiv region Vladimir Timoshko, Russian invaders launched about six to seven UAVs across Kharkiv. On the night of August 1, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked Kharkiv with unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov in his Telegram channel. According to Igor Terekhov, explosions were heard in Shevchenkivsky and Saltov districts of Kharkiv.

Later, the official added that at least three "arrivals" were recorded in Kharkiv. He noted that the blows had fallen in densely populated areas in the city center. "One of the drones destroyed two floors of one of the dormitories. There is a fire, there are units of the SES," Igor Terekhov wrote. The information on the attack of drones was also confirmed by the Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Synigubov. He reported that a fire broke out on the site of one of the blows.

In his turn, the chief of the Kharkiv region, Volodymyr Tymoshko, said in a comment to "Public", which Kharkiv was attacking the drones of Shahd. According to him, there were two "arrivals" in the city, one of which fell on an empty building of a vocational school. Another enclosure was recorded in the central part of the city, resulting in injured one person. Volodymyr Tymoshko also reported that the occupiers had launched Kharkov about six to seven UAV.

According to him, this was done to check the air defense system. The Kharkiv Oblast Police Head also stressed that there were no military objects or the accumulation of military personnel in the places of "arrivals". We will remind that on July 31 the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck a rocket strike on Kryvyi Rih and got to an apartment building.
