In Israel successfully conducted a test of an advanced SPYDER air defense system (video)

The missile complex in the unique All In One configuration was tested in a complex operational scenario for the destruction of the drone. Rafael in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Israel has completed the test of the advanced SPYDER air defense system in its recent unique configuration - All In One. The details were reported on January 11 by Israel Defense.

The publication states that the test involved the interception of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in a complex operational scenario and achieving direct and effective destruction of the goal. This system, written by observers, is used in service with several military forces around the world, providing air defense against various air threats. The Spyder anti-aircraft missile complex is able to effectively neutralize goals such as UAVs, planes, helicopters and tactical ballistic missiles.

In this case, the complex uses RAFAEL - Derby and Python rockets with the thermal imaging head (GSN) and the lesion of up to 35 km. "The All In One configuration integrated radar, electro -optical starting installation, a modern control and command system, as well as Python and Derby interceptors installed on one platform," experts said. According to them, such a configuration is the optimal solution for point air defense, as well as for protection of zones in the battery.

"Successful testing is an important milestone in the development of the system against various threats and demonstrates the outstanding efficiency of the system in the interception of complex threats that are triggered from the Earth," - commented on the event head of RAFAEL PINI Yungman. Earlier, the Israeli Defense Defense showed the use of the ARRW anti -rocket complex.
