Germany sends weapons and military equipment to Ukraine: what exactly will receive the Armed Forces

The new military assistance package, in particular, includes evacuation machines, ammunition for various weapons, including 155mm caliber, drones and other military equipment. The Federal Ministry of Defense of Germany has announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine. One of the priority areas of German supply is air defense, the Bundeswehr press service reported on March 28.

It is noted that assistance consists of two directions: on the one hand, it is money allocated under the initiative of the Federal Government to strengthen the security potential used to finance the supply of weapons and other industrial materials. On the other hand, the materials are provided from the reserves of the Federal Armed Forces.

As a result, the new military assistance package has entered: receipt is expected: since the beginning of the Russian full -scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Germany provided materials from the reserves of federal armed forces worth about 5. 2 billion euros. And for 2024, about 7. 1 billion euros were allocated as part of the initiative of the Federal Government to strengthen security potential. In addition, more than 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers have undergone military training in Germany.
