Special means of communication: in the Russian Federation promise that drones will be able to fly deep in Ukraine for 100 km

Satellite radio receivers will be installed on UAVs, which will provide a large radius of action. The Russian company "Citronics" has declared the creation of special means of communication for drones, which the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are used for intelligence and observation, reports "Military Observer". Citronics has already created 100 communication satellites, which, as planned, will serve as transmitters and radio signals for drones.

Company engineers plan to attract specialists in other Russian companies - PTERO and Aeromax. Joint efforts will be developed by satellite communication receivers for UAVs. It is reported that new type drones will be launched this year - in July. The occupiers hope to use a connection based on a certain protocol called the "autonomous identification system" (AIS).

It is expected that with it any drone-reconnaissance will be able to overcome the distance of 100 km, that is, at such a maximum distance from the device will be able to be the operator that controls it. This will allow the drone to carry out the exploration deep in the Ukrainian rear. Data exchange will be made through satellites using AIS protocol. The company says that such a communication system will be more reliable than radio communication between the control panel and the drone.

Moreover, the radius of its action is much greater: the only question is whether the UAVs will be able to set the satellite radio receivers, overcome the distance of 100 km. Given that the project will join PTERO and Aeromax, communication devices may receive devices such as PTERO-G1, PTERO-G0 and SH-3000 unmanned helicopter.

"The future experiment should show the fundamental possibility of realization of UAV satellite communication only at the expense of existing satellites," the material reports. Citronics has hinted that some experiences have already been present and the project will already be implemented by July 2024. Earlier, we wrote that the Russian hedgehog drone will be able to change remotely. The modified land drone will be able to carry two TM-62 anti-tank mines at once.
