According to the Speaker of the General Staff Andriy Kovalev, the northeast of Bakhmut's defense forces continue to restrain the counter -offensive of the Russian troops. The forces of Ukraine's defense are moving in the area of ​​the work of Zaporizhzhya region. In the Melitopol direction, the offensive operation continues, the enemy retreats from captured positions. This was reported by a spokesman for the Armed Forces General Staff Andriy Kovalev, reports Military Media Center.

"As a result of the assault actions, the defense forces have partial success in the area of ​​the Robician Zaporizhzhya region," the spokesman explained. The Armed Forces also achieved partial successes in the area of ​​Klicshivka in the Bakhmut direction. According to Kovalev, the offensive is south of the city territory of Bakhmut. "They have achieved partial success in the Khichshiivka area in Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses in living strength and technology," he added.

At the same time, in the area to the northwest of Bakhmut, the forces of defense continue to restrain the counter -offensive of the Russian troops. "The enemy was unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of ​​Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region," the spokesman added. It should be reminded that in the Russian Defense Ministry stated that the Armed Forces had a blow to the Crimea with 10 winged missiles.
