The Armed Forces of the Armed Forces are used by Polish Krab with Indian ammunition: how they got to Ukraine (video)
As observers point out, the KRAB SAU became a key weapon in the Ukrainian Armed Forces for several reasons, including the possibility of using various ammunition. Earlier, the records showed the firing of Ukrainian "crabs" using M107 artillery shells, written off more than 30 years ago and transmitted from Italian warehouses.
According to the reviewers of the publication, Indian shells were likely to enter Ukraine because of the purchase of radiance countries, perhaps not directly, from the Indian industry or the army. It is interesting that last year the Ukrainians received a party of artillery ammunition from Pakistan, the country-competitor of India in the region. Despite the potential of the industry of both countries, the quality of the Pakistani ammunition is likely not to meet the Western standard.
Krab is a Polish caterpillar artillery system that replaced the post -Soviet 2S1 Goździk 2001. The main weapon is 155 mm guba-gubitsa L/52 with a ammunition of 40 shells, capable of striking targets at a distance of more than 40 km. Currently, Krab is used only in Polish and Ukrainian armies. We will remind, on September 7, 2023 the media wrote that Poland invests $ 200 million to expand the production of KRAB SAU.
