Do we need to declare the property destroyed by Russian shelling: NACC Response

The National Corruption Prevention Agency explained how citizens have properly declared destroyed housing and vehicles during the war. The full -scale war with Russia left many Ukrainians without housing. Citizens also lost a large number of vehicles as a result of shelling of peaceful cities in the Russian Army. According to the press service of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACC) about the property that was destroyed, citizens should be informed in their declarations.

"If your home is destroyed, then the data on such an object shall be reflected in section 3" Real Estate "Declaration by the moment of exclusion of information about it from the State Register of Real Property Rights to Real Estate," the statement reads. The same applies to vehicles, which must be displayed in section 6 "Valuable movable property - vehicles" Declaration before removing this destroyed vehicle.

"If the vehicle has been destroyed or remained in a temporarily occupied territory or damaged and not suitable for further use, the car owner may contact the nearest Ministry of Internal Affairs Service Center and order a vehicle's culling service. After that, the vehicle will be taken off," - explained In NAPC. The ownership of the destroyed movable property will be terminated after the owner provides the facts that the property has been destroyed.
