Without confidence in the future: Ukrainians told how their lives changed during the war (infographics)

The war led to the loss of work at least one third of the able -bodied population. The situation for displaced persons and residents of hostilities is especially difficult: half of them have lost their work. Evaluating the financial situation in 2022, two -thirds (63%) of Ukrainians reported that their financial situation had worsened against the background of war, and another 32% of residents of the country believe that no changes in financial terms were felt.

This is evidenced by the survey of the sociological group "Rating". According to a survey, only 4% of Ukrainians reported improvement of financial status. At the same time, almost 40% of respondents said they are confident in their future. It is noted that as a result of the war, almost a third of able -bodied Ukrainians were left out of their work. Particularly acute employment is for displaced persons and residents of hostilities, as half of them have lost their work.

But even those citizens who managed to maintain a workplace during the war, still felt a decrease in wages. The most difficult to work was the first months of a full -scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine. In the future, the situation in the labor market began to stabilize, and people gradually returned to work. The survey was conducted on February 6-7, 2023.

1000 respondents from all regions were interviewed except the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbass, as well as territories where Ukrainian mobile operators did not work at the time of the survey. Error representative of research with a confidence probability 0. 95: slightly over 3. 1%. By the way, on January 16, 2023, the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine shared data on socialization on the views of Ukrainians on the economy and income after the invasion.

As it turned out, the financial expectations of Ukrainians after a full -scale invasion of Russia have changed seriously. So, if in November 2021 most citizens believed that for a normal life, one person would need 16 372 UAH per month. per month, in December 2022, the financial appetite of Ukrainians decreased to 14 231 UAH. Earlier, focus told in which areas employers, even in the war, offer Ukrainians quite generous salaries.
