"Picture on the battlefield will change": The Ministry of Defense told when the Armed Forces will get more drones

In recent months, the Armed Forces have received more UAVs of different types and modifications. The stock of drones should be replenished continuously as they are a consumable material. Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Havrylyuk stated that the Ukrainian military will receive "several times more" unmanned aircraft in December. He reported this in an interview with the Armyinform.

Ivan Havrylyuk emphasized that in November, the Armed Forces fighters received more drones than in October. "We recently received an additional resource for purchase. Therefore, in December the Armed Forces will receive many times more drones. I hope that the picture on the battlefield will change," Ivan Gavriluk said. He noted that in recent months the Ukrainian military has been receiving more drones of different types and modifications.

However, given the intensity of hostilities in certain areas of the front, UAV, in particular the tactical level, is a consumable material. According to Havrylyuk, their stock should be continuously replenished as shells. In addition, the Ministry of Defense believes that not only the production of drones, but also the production of HR. In particular, every effort and possible financial resources are made for this purpose.

Havrylyuk added that the time of admission to the operation of weapons and military equipment (OVT) has decreased to almost 20 days from the moment of application by the manufacturer to assign the code and admission to use. We will remind, on November 29 in the media reported that for the production of FPV-punks Ukraine lacks skilled personnel. In particular, thousands of engineers and hundreds of highly skilled craftsmen are required to make UAVs.
