The fighters then had automatic machines, RPGs and small arms, and when they went to a tank column, they realized that they could not do anything. After that, they got into a tactical environment, so they made the decision to break through the Antonovsky Bridge. "We literally crawled on our knees and became entrenched there," the military said. Then they came under cross -fire and from a group of 7 people 6 were injured, including Dmitry.

One of the fighters was 6 bullet wounds, and now he is held captive. Dmitry remembered how his wounded was pulled from a ditch near the Antonivsky Bridge, and that's where his battle ended. Then everything was like in the fog, then he realized that he was assisted, and he was in hospital. He later called his mother because she had already been told that he had died. The military month was in the hospital and underwent 3 operations.

One morning, while in the hospital, he saw Russian invaders who went to the hospital. At that moment, hostile checkpoints were already in the city and were looking for the Ukrainian soldiers. Dmitry had no documents except those in the Action Appendix and he decided to get out of the hospital. He was then helped by a volunteer from Kiev and a local man who hid him for almost 2 months.
