Ukrainian craftsmen turned old KrAZ into modern houses on the Armed Forces (Video)
The idea of performing an unusual tuning KrAZ-255B was born with Volunteer Roman Pastushenko. Wheel homes are designed for the needs of air defense servicemen. The cars even received names - they were named in honor of the dead heroes of Alexander Chuik and Dmitry Domanov. Two KRAZ-255B was purchased in Finland-they were used as a pontoon-bridge park. In the White Church, trucks were made residential compartments (kung) with an area of 13 square meters. m with thermal insulation.
In one truck there were 8 beds, in the other - a kitchen and a shower with a water heater and a tank for 500 liters of water. Each KrAZ-255B autodim received a ventilation system, an infrared heater, propane-butane cylinders, LED lighting. The project is not completed yet, and volunteers raise funds for furniture for the interior of trucks. KrAZ-255B trucks are equipped with a 14. 9-liter 240-horsepower turbo diesel and a full drive 6x6 with differential blocking. The wheel system is also provided.
