Up to five years in prison: the State Duma of the Russian Federation was offered to punish for calls for nuclear war

The deputies of the "apple" faction offer to fine officials and propagandists in the amount of up to 1 million rubles or imprisonment for up to five years. For citizens, the bill provides a fine of 300 thousand rubles or three years in prison. The Parliamentary faction "Yabluka" has submitted a proposal to the legislative assembly of St. Petersburg for liability for calls for the use of nuclear weapons.

For public calls for officials or propagandists for the use of nuclear weapons (IZ), they are offered to be fined up to 1 million rubles or imprisonment for up to five years. This is stated in the press release of the "apple" faction. "For citizens, the responsibility of the softer is a fine of 100-300 thousand rubles or imprisonment for up to three years,"-reads.

According to the leader of the faction Alexander Shishlov, this proposal was put forward against the background of an intensifying military rhetoric, which is aimed at justifying the use of nuclear weapons. In particular, it is emphasized that in the Russian media and in speeches official calls were increased.

"Hidden and obvious threats of nuclear weapons complicate the search for a peaceful resolution of conflicts, promote ignition in the society of hatred and aggression in society," said Alexander Shishlov. The deputy chairman of the faction Boris Vyshnevsky believes that calls for the use of units are not just irresponsible - it is madness and cannibalism.

The deputies in the note to the bill emphasized that the military doctrine on the use of ulcers is, first of all, incompatible with both the UN Declaration on the prevention of a nuclear catastrophe and with the laws of human morality. We will remind, the Russian singer and deputy of the State Duma from "One Russia" Denis Maidanov sang a song in the words of former director of "Roscosmos" Dmitry Rogozin about the nuclear missile "Sarmat".
