Donetsk region was left without light: the consequences of the nocturnal blows of the Russian Federation

The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadim Filashkin informed that experts have already started repair and restoration work and are doing everything possible to return the light to residents as soon as possible.

However, the final scale of destruction and the timing of electricity recovery still must be set. The official added that there are indomitable items in the region where people can get warm, electricity and Internet access. In addition to Donetsk region, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky also partially left without electricity after the night attack of Russian troops. According to the city council, the objects of critical infrastructure of the community were damaged.

In some areas of the city there are no light and water supply. Currently, utilities and DTEK specialists are carrying out repair and restoration work. According to preliminary data, water supply on the network can be restored by 12:30. We will remind, on October 11 Russia struck a massive blow in the Odessa region. At that time, electricity facilities were damaged, which is why 44 settlements and more than 300,000 homes remained without light.

In the morning, part of consumers and objects of critical infrastructure managed to connect to the backup power sources - the power supply was restored to 240 thousand customers. A day earlier, the capital of Ukraine was under a massive attack, which resulted in almost the entire left bank of Kiev without light.
