He also stressed that Ukraine's restoration could be Magnum Opus for Europe, that is, a "key task" for years ahead. According to the Cabinet of Ministers, Shmigal emphasized that Russian assets should be one of the main resources for the revival of our country. "It's time to confiscate these assets," Denis Shmigal said.

It should be noted that the world banks, including the European Union, the USA, Japan and Canada, have frozen Russian assets worth about $ 300 billion. Almost $ 200 billion from these funds is stored in Europe, mainly at the Belgian Cleric Center of the EuroClear. Focus wrote that French President Emmanuel Macron assured that the EU could not confiscate the frozen assets of Russia, as this is contrary to the principles of international law.
