The church in the Czech Republic was presented with an unusual bell: it is made of rockets that the Russian Federation fired Ukraine (photo)
"The product is very symbolic, it is a special project for us. To turn the material for violence into something peaceful is a good idea," - says the owner of the foundry Justbates. The bell will be installed in the bell tower of the Church of the Savior in Prague instead of an authentic bell, which during the First World War stole the Austro-Hungarian army and melted on weapons. "We have greatly accelerated the process and made a bell in two and a half weeks.
It usually takes six to eight weeks," says Eisbauts. The bell weighs more than 200 kilograms, its diameter - almost 70 centimeters. On its building there are inscriptions of Czech, Dutch and Ukrainian. Along with the Bible quote, he calls for peace and freedom, and also emphasizes friendship between the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Ukraine, says Radio Prague International.
Bronze and brass were taken for production of the product, as well as fragments of the Russian artillery shell of 122 mm caliber and C-300 missiles. The ammunition was transferred to the Ukrainian Embassy in Prague. We will remind, at the Lithuanian checkpoint Schalchininki customs officers seized the church bell stolen in Ukraine.
