Euro 2024 without aggressor country: the Russian Federation team will not participate in the European Championship

According to UAF President Andriy Pavlenko, the Russians were not allowed to draw a qualifying tour, so in the near future international football competitions are not shined. The Russian football team will not participate in the European Championship in 2024, as it was not allowed to draw a qualifying tour and therefore miss the continental championship. This was stated on Facebook by the President of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) Andriy Pavelko.

"The Russians simply have nothing to prepare. As it demanded, Russia will not be on October 9 in German Frankfurt. And at least by 2024 they are not shined with official international football competitions!" He wrote in his post.

At the same time, Pavlenko mentioned the situation around the coach of the national team of Ukraine Oleksandr Petrakov, whom the Russian Football Union accused of discrimination against the Russians and violation of political neutrality in connection with the calls for banning the Russians to participate in international competitions. According to Pavlenko, UEFA has already considered the complaint and decided to fine Petrakov.

Of course, the decision to eliminate was not and could not be. It was reported that the Russian Football Union complained to UEFA's head coach of the national football team Alexander Petrakov and accused him of igniting hatred on national basis and using football to approve political views.
