Another country is preparing for war: in the General Staff of Britain warned the population

According to Patrick Sanders, the head of the British General Staff, the war in Ukraine showed that the wars were being solved by regular armies and the civil armies win them. The population of Britain should be ready for service in the army in the event of a war with Russia. The head of the General Staff of Britain Patrick Sanders said this at the military conference, writes The Guardian.

According to him, the British people are "pre -war generations", which will probably have to prepare for war against the Russian Federation. He cited Sweden, which resumed civil service. Patrick Sanders said it was necessary to follow the example of Stockholm and take preparatory steps. In particular, such actions are not only desirable but necessary. The head of the General Staff of Britain also mentioned Ukraine and emphasized that the wars began regular armies and win their civil armies.

As you can understand, it is about civilians who join the rows of troops. Therefore, in order to repel the threat to Europe, the residents of Britain should be ready to join the regular army servicemen. Sanders also stated that over the past 30 years, the UK army has halved, and in the last 12 years - by 28%. Settlement is still a problem, despite the highest in the last six years, the number of applications for entry.

The publication writes that before the speech of the head of the British General Staff, the Ministry of Defense stated that they did not plan to return the National Service, because the British army is a voluntary force. The ministry added that there were no "no hints" to return the call. We will remind, in December, the Minister of Defense of Germany stated that Europe should take seriously the threats of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

In particular, this applies to the Baltic, Georgia and Moldova countries. In his opinion, NATO should increase weapons production and there is only about 5-8 years in countries to prepare for possible aggression. It should be added that at the end of December, Vladimir Putin stated that NATO was provoked by Russia for conflict. He stated that the North Atlantic Alliance joined Finland, and if there were no problems in relations between the countries, they may appear.
