Fly further ATCMS: Even standard Jassm steals rols will expand a list of 245 goals in the Russian Federation

According to journalists, Jassm missiles are completed only by American carriers, but there were also attempts to add Jassm to the Ukrainian Air Force fighter. Journalists with reference to three sources, including US officials, reported that Washington is close to the Jassm Supply Agreement to Ukraine, and the missile supply will be announced in the package of military assistance in the fall of 2024. But the agreement has not yet been completed. Journalists noted that Jassm rockets were completed only by American carriers, but that there were also attempts to add Jassm to the Ukrainian Air Force fighter.

Standard Jassm flight range is about 370 km, and the jassm-ER rockets (Jassm-ER)-are already about 1000 km. It is unknown which option will be sent to Ukraine, but in both versions the flight range exceeds the maximum range of ATACMS missiles that the US has already transmitted. According to the estimates of US OSINT analysts, at least 245 Russian military facilities are currently within the reach of ATACMS in the Russian Federation, at least 85% of them-aerodromes.

Even with the standard Jassm - when launching from Ukraine airspace - the list of these military goals in the Russian Federation will expand. At the same time, it is difficult to say whether Ukraine will be able to use the extended Jassm range, given the current US restrictions on high -precision weapons.
