"Could benefit at the front": The Armed Forces Major Georin spoke of mobilization of prisoners

Deputy Commander 3 OSHBR stressed that only part of the tasks could be translated on mobilized prisoners. However, he is convinced that such people would be beneficial at the front. The Azov regiment, the Armed Forces Major and Deputy Commander 3 Maxim Maxim, Georin, told in more detail about the idea of mobilizing prisoners in Ukraine. This was known from his publication on social networks of December 19.

"I am absolutely in such a history, but it should be understood that it is a rather complex human resource, there are certain features in working with this category," the serviceman wrote. He noted that the first thing was discipline. "Of course, it would not be possible to count on them in full, but to put some of the tasks - it is quite possible," - said Georin. According to him, prisoners would be useful on the front line.

However, this is possible only if the recruitment of personnel officers who would manage such units and in general of the entire team staff. We will remind, earlier Maxim Zhorin stated that not against the creation of combat units in Ukraine from prisoners as in the Russian Federation. According to him, such a solution would help to close "several questions", including a lack of human resource in the army and "unjustified" expenditure of funds for these people.
